- The current business education model, with the expected outcome of qualifying students for future employment, often emphasizes specialization, channeling graduates towards competitive job markets as job seekers rather than jobs creators. The current model is designed to enhance employability through technical skills training.
- The entrepreneurship interdisciplinary expected outcome is developing/qualifying students for future “business ownership”. the current program structure falls short in providing the crucial economic capital needed for launching successful ventures.
- Through the NEST Program, NESBA addresses this gap by including the crucial “Financial Capital” as an integral component of a comprehensive, entrepreneurial capacity-building program that combines the current rigorous entrepreneurial curriculum with practical resources of coaching, mentorship, workshops, networking events, and most importantly “Financial Capital”.
